After choosing your desired niche and city combination, we'll collect some information from you such as the business' phone number, domain name, etc. Once we have that we go to work doing a ton of research on things like keywords, content development, your target city and more. Once we've gathered all that information it's time to start building out your Wordpress site. Finally, when the site's been completed, we publish it onto your hosting provider and drop you an email letting you know you site is live.
The only things you'll need to get started are a domain name and a hosting plan. We'll upload the site, create the database and make sure it's published and running smoothly. We'll ask you for your hosting account's login info in order to do this. We recommend Hostmonster (affiliate link) for this but you can use any company you want. Alternatively, we can send you a ZIP folder with all the site files and a copy of the database.
Absolutely. We love Rank and Rent and many of our customers use our sites for this. Once we deliver them, it's really up to you how you choose to monetize your web properties.
Go for it! You're free to mark our prices up however much you want and re-sell your site to anyone.
We'll usually have your site live on the interwebs in 5 business days or less. If it's for a niche that we haven't tackled before, it could take longer as we do keyword and other needed research.
Your site will look exactly like a real local business, with all the pages that they usually feature including:
Absolutely! Step #1 for us when your order comes in is to carry out deep keyword research in your chosen industry for your desired location. Your entire site-build is based on this research including its copy, structure, meta data, etc.
Yes. Included with your purchase are 125 Google Map Citations to help get you started with your off-page efforts.
We hire professional U.S.-based writers to write every word on your site. We don't use content spinners or any other junky tool that generates poor content. Your site will read like it was written by an English-speaking real human; because it was!
Yes. We re-use some the text we've developed on multiple sites of the same niche. That's because Google has stated that duplicate content doesn't cause your site to be penalized. In a post by Susan Moska on the official Google Webmaster Blog, she states:
Let's put this to bed once and for all, folks: There's no such thing as a "duplicate content penalty."
What Google does do when it encounters duplicate content is show only one version in the SERPs. For local searches, where your site is the only one in the SERPs with that content, this becomes a non-issue.
Moreover, we've tested this theory over and over in our personal PPL business and have not encountered any issues, ever.
If you're still worried about "duplicate content", we offer an add-on to have your text used exclusively on your site. However, we do not think this is at all necessary.
It's possible that your site will start ranking with only the 125 Map Citations that we include in all our packages. Specifically, the hyper-local pages targeting cities and towns near your main city usually perform very well due to the low competition in those areas. But we definitely recommend setting up some additional off-page signals such as citations, press releases and/or other links to help nudge Google along.
